One of the popular Moscow sights will be closed to tourists from February 16 to mid-April 2015 in connection with scheduled preventive works .
Specialists from the All-Russian Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants will work on the embalmed body of the leader of the world proletariat. The Mausoleum will also check the equipment responsible for maintaining the humidity and the required temperature.
The forthcoming preventive works are planned: the Lenin Mausoleum is closed for modernization every 2 years. In addition, every few years, Lenin is changing his costume.
Note that according to the scientists' forecasts, Lenin's body can remain unchanged for several decades.
