The territory of the park covers the Chivyrkuisky Bay, the peninsula of St. Nose, the archipelago of the Ushkanji Islands with the largest seagull hauling in the Baikal. There are five hiking trails in the park, among which is the route to Mount Markovo, the highest mountaintop of the Holy Nose peninsula, from which a panorama of the Ushkany islands, the northern part of the Chivyrkuisky bay and the sandy beaches of the Barguzinsky bay opens.

The most picturesque places in the park are Ongokonskaya Bay in Chivyrkuisky Bay, the tract Cheremshanskaya Grove with Zaro with willow blossoms, Lake Arangutai. In the park are known "singing sands" Cape Lower Izgolovje and Markovo Creek. In the steep rocks of the Holy Nose are many cave grottoes. Popular among the local population and tourists are three outlets of mineral springs: Snake, Kulins and Nechaevsky

Here you can see a bear, a reindeer, a black-capped marmot. On the water routes and Ushkanii islands - Baikal seal. In the taiga, you can find moose, red deer, roe deer, sable, squirrel, fox, wolf are common, otter and muskrat inhabit the water bodies. Birds are represented by 241 species, among them such rare species as peregrine falcon, black crane, golden eagle, black stork, long-tailed eagle, white-tailed eagle
