The factory dam in Yekaterinburg was built from the Urals larch - a tree that does not rot in the water, but becomes stony and becomes stronger. This is one of the oldest structures of this kind in Russia.

Plotinka is a place for meetings and partings. It is here that the most interesting things happen in Yekaterinburg. They live in the airport area, so we had to get to the city center for about an hour. The dam is located in the very center of the city, on the dam of the Iset River stood a factory. Now parts of the old dam can be seen in several places: in the place from which water flows from under the bridge and in the pedestrian tunnel. The tunnel, above which Lenin's street passes, is painted with graffiti, street musicians gather there. On weekends, pensioners-chess players are sitting at the exit from the tunnel. There is only a resting people on the dam, therefore the people's mood is friendly.
