There are several good ski resorts close to Yekaterinburg. One of them is located near the mountain Volchikha. It is the highest mountain in the vicinity of the city - 526 meters above sea level. The season lasts until the middle of March, when the Snow Cannons enter the battle on the Wolf. On the mountain there are four routes - two intermediate levels and one for beginners and professionals. In addition, there is a huge snowpark here. You will be offered to hire both classic ski equipment, snowmobiles and air bags.

Mount Pilava Complex is located about 40 kilometers from Yekaterinburg. Here a small difference in altitude, about a hundred meters, so the mountain is loved by beginners and snowboarders. The trails stretch for three kilometers. Ski lifts help skiers and instructors climb to the top. The latter are ready to teach anyone who wants the basics of mountain skiing for 700-800 rubles per hour.

But "Ezhovaya Mountain" - another complex - is far from Ekaterinburg, in a hundred kilometers. You can get here by your own or on a private bus that takes skiers from the city circus. The top point of the mountain is 550 meters, the height difference on the routes is 300 meters. Trails are well illuminated, so here you can ride until late at night. This complex positions itself as a real recreation center - with a Russian bath, a Finnish sauna, a restaurant and a night club. In the morning, you can ride horses and see the nearby Wishima Nature Reserve.
