The prefecture is located in the Tugoku region on the largest Japanese island of Honshu. Tourists usually come here to admire the largest sand dunes in the country on the shore of the Sea of ​​Japan. However, in the already coming summer season there are many other reasons for visiting Tottori.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the state park "San-In seaside" from July 13 to September 8, a large-scale exhibition of photos of fish living in local waters will take place on its territory.
