The International Film Festival, taking place in winter on the magical Italian island of Capri, is the first of the most important stages in the world race for the Golden Globe and Oscar awards. Every year at this solemn event, movie stars from all corners of the world gather. Premieres of Italian and foreign films will be held during the festival, exhibitions, symposiums and creative evenings will be held

The film festival will be held under the banner of the anticipated fiction film "Avatar", shot by Australian director James Cameron (Oscar for the film "Titanic"). The film in 3D format is 60% composed of computer graphics and narrates about the mythical planet Pandora inhabited by giant flying snakes and prehistoric monsters.
