From June 15 to June 22, Sicily will host the 59th cinematographic festival "Taormina - 2013 ".

The main feature of the festival is that in its competitive program, films created by the directors of the Mediterranean coast are participating. The main shows and ceremonies, including the presentation of the Golden Calf (the main prize of the festival), take place on the stage of an ancient amphitheater in the resort town of Taormina

The Taormina 2013 Film Festival is not a single event to be held this summer in the ancient amphitheater of the city. On July 16, the music of British rock musician Mark Knopfler will be performed on the same stage, and later the famous Italian dancer Roberto Bollo will perform with the ballet.
