When does the Bohemian carnival take place in Prague?

Responses information department of the "Tourism Subtlety"
For several centuries, the famous Bohemian Carnevale has been held annually in Prague, and crowds of tourists come to the capital of the Czech Republic to look at this action, something reminiscent of our Masnenitsa . The first two weeks of February, music sounds on the streets of the city, costumed parades are held, cheerful performances are held.

The main place where the Shrovetide festivities take place is, of course, the Old Town Square, which traditionally hosts a fair with all kinds of goods: decorations, sweets, souvenirs, yes what is there just is not for sale. Here you can taste the famous Czech sausages, dumplings and stewed cabbage and drink it all with excellent beer. The festivities take place on other sites of the city: near museums, restaurants, theaters and galleries
