The Sigmund Freud Museum in Vienna is located at the house No. 19 in Berggasse. The museum presents an exposition telling about the life and psychotherapeutic practice of Sigmund Freud.
Originally the museum was an apartment of Freud, where he lived with his family since 1891. In addition, the apartment also housed Sigmund Freud's office, as well as the reception room, where he consulted his patients. Having lived in this apartment for 47 years, Freud and his family, because of their Jewish origin, had to flee from Vienna in 1938, where the Nazis took power, to London.
The museum has accompanying brochures in Russian, as well as audio guides in English and German
