The Kunsthistorisches Museum (KHM) is the most famous art museum in Vienna. It was opened in 1891, together with the almost identical Museum of Natural History, located opposite and in appearance. Both museums are built in the style of the Italian Renaissance by the project of Gottfried Semper and Baron Karl von Hausenauer

Museum of Art History in Vienna is worthy of attention! April 18, 2014

We lived in the Ibis hotel and reached the museum on our own, on the Metro. Closest to the museum is the station Museumsquartier, we traveled from the station Westbahnhof with one transfer, only 4 stations. It took us several hours to visit the museum. The building is huge, three floors - there's even a coffee shop where you can relax with a cup of coffee with a delicious cake.
