At the moment, the FBI is investigating the loss of 1, 2 million dollars that were loaded onto one of the Swiss flights.
The Saturday flight of a Swiss air carrier from Zurich to New York was both passenger and cargo, as a large amount of cash was carried on its board. Upon arrival at the John F. Kennedy International Airport, the responsible employees did not count 1, 2 million dollars with hundred-dollar bills. At the moment, FBI employees are trying to find out whether this amount was stolen before the take-off of an airliner in Switzerland, or after its landing in New York.
It is reported that the money was transported in a special double container designed on the basis of a matryoshka doll that banks use for transportation of cash on airplanes. The final destination of the lost amount was the US Federal Reserve.
