New research showed that while 58% of travelers decided to save on their holiday holidays, more than half will wait for a profitable offer to buy a cheaper tour. Only 11% of the respondents say that they have already booked the tours and paid for the trip.

Overview of the site ShopAtHome.com showed that 43% of American tourists say that they will not go anywhere this holiday season for the New Year, and 28% of the respondents will leave rest no more than 200 km from the house.

Perhaps the most interesting aspects of the study are the following:

Of those who do not plan a trip, 50% do not have enough time to rest, traveling with children, and also they experience material difficulties.

Only 17% of respondents can spend more on vacation weeks.

Almost 60% of respondents said that if they had the opportunity, they would have fled from the urban jungle to a tropical paradise (43%), snow-covered valleys (12%) or national parks (5%).

Only 12% plan to spend more than $ 1000 on vacation. 52% of respondents think that they will spend between $ 100 and $ 1000 on travel until New Year's Eve.
