The British Eastbourne Military History Museum lost some of its exhibits, including the Russian signal horn, captured during the Battle of the Crimean War, through the fault of the intruders.

The copper horn crowned with the Russian double-headed eagle was kidnapped on July 3, and for information about the kidnapped The exhibit was promised a reward of two thousand pounds (about three thousand dollars). Also lost were the medals of the hero of World War II, Sir John Hackett.
