Highland Fling in Switzerland? Inspired by the famous Edinburgh Edinburgh Tattoo Edinburgh Festival of Military Orchestras, this festival, from 13 to 21 July, gathers bagpipers, brass bands and folklore dancers in the city. Look at the parade that takes place in the old part of the city, or buy tickets for the open-air show.
The arena is located opposite the Basel barracks, and its hall can accommodate up to 7500 spectators. The parade moves down the street Freie Strasse, crosses the streets Marktplatz and Mittlere Brücke, continues the procession along the street Clarastrasse, and the street Messeplatz is its final destination. 30 riders from the London Cavalry Regiment Blues & Royals take part in the parade.
