3 Scammers robbed the Madrid zoo for a million euros

Madrid police detained two zoo employees for organizing fraud. Attackers sold admission tickets to visitors bypassing the ticket office, leaving the proceeds to themselves.

The total amount of damage from fraudsters is estimated at 1.16 million EUR. The malefactors worked in pairs: one of the criminals was selling tickets at the zoo's box office, and the other was engaged in computer support. This allowed him to crack the codes and not take into account some of the tickets sold.

The scammers got caught when one of the ticket dealers noticed the discrepancy between the number of tickets sold and the amount of revenue. The comrades immediately confessed to the crime and returned some of the money.
