August 18, aquarium employees celebrated a landmark event: a 10 million visitor. They became a 42-year-old resident of the province of North Cholla Kim Hion. The lucky guy received a lifetime free aquarium voucher for four people and a road check worth 500,000 won (about 419 USD).

Every day the aquarium is visited by more than 3,000 people. Especially popular is the 80-meter underwater tunnel with sharks. Several times a day, in front of visitors, divers and fairy mermaid feed huge marine predators
