We were lucky - we got to the Island after the June holidays, so the people were few, which provided our family a quiet, relaxing holiday . Of course the road to the base is terrible, two hours by some small crushed rock . here you realize that before that bad roads you just did not see . But all the impressions of the road were forgotten as soon as we saw the beauty of nature on the Island . The lake is clean, the beach is neat, the most heavenly sky !!! Entertainment on the basis of a little, we took a boat for hire, played tennis, but basically just walked around the neighborhood . Room clean, cleaning at your request . Very sympathetic and friendly staff, fulfilled all our requests without any problems . @ In the dining room everything was delicious, I would like to note very large portions and separately note the most delicious pastries and pancakes! The only thing that bothered me was the fungi . (from where they were brought not clearly) . In general, we did not regret that we had a rest on the Island .

Yesterday I returned with my husband from a rest, impressions - the sea !!!! Read a few not very flattering reviews about the base and I will say one thing: people, do not listen to such a perfection, it's better to visit this fabulous place at least once! I have not seen such pure air, such a fantastic nature for a long time, just a complete sense of unity with nature . Fabulously beautiful !!! With regard to food: not every boarding house or holiday home is fed THESE portions of . They took two meals a day, but even that was behind the eyes! The diet is made very competently, designed for adults and children, they cook VERY TASTY! Separate THANKS to all the staff: the administrator Natalia, her assistants Igor and Nikolai, the guys from the cafe and everyone else who provided us this amazing rest !!! We decided unequivocally: next year only there, we will recommend to all friends as well! So, it's better to see once, it's worth it!

Former base of Metrostroy, which has not seen renewal and caring owners for a long time. We got a spacious room, light, plastic windows - but it's clear, all this luxury from the previous owners.

Ancient quilted blankets, no less ancient pillows, faded bed linen and towels. There is hot water in the room, each room has its own boiler, there were no problems with this. The family stopped at 1 day and regretted that they spent money on this "recreation center". Usually we stop at Seliger in another boarding house, but there were no places. True, one or even two of them are bored. This base is more likely for large companies of youth. It's boring. But for amateurs to be drawn that is necessary. Staff responds to any antics calmly. We got on the day of Russia (June 12) until 2 o'clock in the morning, the company was raging.
In general, a normal rest. The only problem is to get there a whole headache, especially on public transport. From Moscow 7 hours by bus. Then 2 hours by taxi on the absolutely broken road.

Were in the boarding house of the Island a big company, in the middle of December. The territory is picturesque, surrounded by dense forests and an excellent view of Lake Seliger. Cottages are good, designed for 5 people, but they can comfortably accommodate and more. The only negative, it was cold, and had to be pumped several times a night (on the street was -30). Inside is cozy, the kitchen has everything you need. From winter entertainment: sledges, skates, skis, a small polygon for paintball. If you want, you can rent a gazebo and BBQ.

On the territory there is a restaurant, they cook very tasty, the atmosphere is simple, but homey.
