The museum presents painting, graphics, sculpture, theatrical and decorative and decorative arts of classical Western European schools of the 16th and 19th centuries, works of Russian art of the 16th-20th centuries, Tatar fine and applied art; collection of icons from the cathedrals of Sviyazhsk. The museum has the largest collection of works by the artist NI Feshin in the country
