The monument to the dog is another Voronezh attraction. In 1998, on the main street, Avenue of the Revolution, a monument to the White Bimu, the hero of the novel by Gabriel Troepol'skaya "White Bim Black Ear".

dog monument is made of stainless steel and cast life-size. The right ear and one of the paws are made of bronze. The dog sits right on the ground (there is no pedestal at the monument), patiently waiting for the return of its master. The collar engraved with his name.

Some townspeople and tourists believe that a dog brings luck and happiness, which is why every time they passed by, they pat Bima on the "black" ear or rub his nose.

Very nice monument, I did not even know what I needed for luck. s it, but could not resist not to touch the dog. Near the very beautiful building of the theater "The Jester", and if you go deep into the courtyard, there are high poles on which fairy-tale characters.
