According to the author, the sculptural composition was conceived as a call and symbol for the struggle to save today's and future generations. The monument causes a mixed reaction. More than once the composition was criticized and accusations that in fact it is a monument to the vices themselves. Nevertheless, this monument is one of the most popular modern sights of the city.
