At the foot of the volcano Plosky Tolbachik in Kamchatka plan to open a base for tourists. It is assumed that volcanoes and rescuers of the Ministry of Emergencies will be located in the base camp. In addition, on the territory of the base it will be possible to equip a camp for tourist groups. The purpose of this project is to ensure the safety of people who want to see the eruption.
Plosky Tolbachik is located in the southwestern part of the Klyuchevskaya group of volcanoes in the east of Kamchatka, only 343 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The height of the volcano is 3,085 meters above sea level.
