About 600 homes in the village of Novomikhailovsky in the Tuapse region of the Krasnodar Territory were flooded because of torrential rains, as a result of which the water level in the Nechepsuho River increased, RBC reported.

The houses located on the streets of Lenin, Sovkhoznaya and Morskaya suffered the most. There were also no casualties: four corpses were found during the patrol detour. The identity of the dead is now fixed. A temporary accommodation center was set up at school N35.

114 people were sent to liquidate the consequences of the flood, including 33 people from the Ministry of Emergency Situations. On the morning of August 22, it became known that the plane of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Il-76 flew from Moscow to Kuban to help the residents of Novomikhailovsky.
