No less popular is the English Garden in the center of Munich. The park meets thousands of townspeople and tourists every day wishing to relax under shady trees or in one of the numerous reservoirs. This is an ideal place for outdoor enthusiasts. The southern and northern parts of the park can be explored by bike, on foot or by horse riding. In addition, the park is also suitable for surfers.
One of the largest ponds in Munich, located in the park, creates a wave that is ideal for this sport. In general, the park is suitable not only for activists, but also those who seek to relax in the sun, including nudists. There is a Japanese garden with a tea house and a beer garden with a fine Bavarian beer in the park.
