The popular amusement park "Linnanmäki", located in the center of the Finnish capital, will be replenished next summer with one of the highest attractions in Europe.
The 75-meter free-fall tower Kingi is two meters taller than the tallest building in Helsinki - the 73-meter tower of the Olympic Stadium . The construction of the structure was entrusted to the Italian company Moser's Rides, considered one of the leaders in the field of development and implementation of projects of attractions . The plot of the future pearl "Linnanmäki" is not original: a special platform will lift participants to the maximum height, and then rush down, imitating a free fall at a speed of 23 meters per second . To enhance the sensations developers will add additional effects, including the sound of grit of metal surface .
Let's remind that "Linnanmäki" is considered the most popular amusement park in Finland: it is visited annually by more than one million people. Currently there are 43 attractions on its territory, including the wooden roller coaster Vuoristorata and the old carousel in 1896.
