For many Russian tourists, a hike to the Consulate or visa center and further agonizing the passport with a coveted stamp became a kind of ritual before long-awaited trip abroad. But not everybody is lucky: citizens of some countries can freely move around the world and even do not know what problems are with the visa.
Most of all, lucky residents of the UK, Finland and Sweden who do not need or are put on arrival visas to 173 countries of the world. Tourists from the United States, Denmark, Germany and Luxembourg can cross the borders of 172 countries only with a passport.
About 170 countries are open to tourists from Italy, France, Spain, Canada and New Zealand. Travelers from Brazil and Argentina do not need visas in 146 and 147 countries, respectively.
The most difficult thing is for tourists from Afghanistan: without a visa, only 28 countries are available to them. Iraq was a little more lucky - 31 visa-free countries and Somalia with Pakistan - 32.
Russians at the moment do not need visas when visiting 95 countries.
