We, the company of four young people, stayed at the Diplomat during a free backpacker trip about Tunisia. Summary: the four-star hotel obviously does not pull, but in general it makes a pleasant impression.
Of the advantages - the location right in the center of the city of Tunisia - from the railway station reached the foot in 10 minutes. Nearby all that is needed - ATMs, shops with cigarettes and snacks, a bunch of different cafes and local colorful restaurants. (They dine in them local, so everything is very sharp). Breakfast is included in the price, not bad and satisfying.
Number - no special embellishment, but everything is normal: new and not "overcast". Note: the plumbing could be newer, and on the bed it could be used and change the mattress after all. The staff is extremely unobtrusive, if not kicked, nothing will be done.
We basically wandered around the neighborhood, the hotel came only to spend the night.
In general, I can recommend the hotel for a short stop and if you do not plan to "enjoy" it interiors and services
