The main goal of this large-scale project is to preserve the diversity of the plant world of Sri Lanka for future generations. The second goal of the project is the dissemination of information and technology research in the field of floristry and plant industry. And the third task pursued by Sri Lanka is the development of research on the diversity of the island's flora.
