How to get to Tariffs
Local buses go to Cadiz and Algeciras, from where you can make a transfer to the bus that goes to Cordoba, Seville or Granada. For 35 minutes you can get to Tangier (Morocco) by high-speed ferry, the trip will cost about 67 EUR

Tarifa is the capital of windsurfing in Europe. But in addition to water sports you can:

- To go to Morocco for a day or two with an organized tour group or individually. You can see the local attractions or feel the oriental flavor in the city market. Ferries to Tangier are daily and regularly.
In the book "The Alchemist" Paolo Coelho, one of the heroes narrates about his visit to Tarifa on the way to Morocco. Not surprisingly, this city became part of the artwork. Narrow cobbled streets, flowing jasmine twigs, openwork fences made of wrought iron make Tarifa attractive for walks by the old city. What to see:
- Gates of Jerez, built in the 8th century and recently completely renovated
- 16th-century San Mateo church on Calle de los Azogues
- Arab Castle Guzman el Bueno, built in the 10th century to protect the city
- The city museum in the square of Santa Maria (local called this place "the area of a small frog")
At the top of the city in the gardens of Miramar (near the building of the municipality of Ayuntamiento) an impressive panorama of the Strait of Gibraltar and the coast of Morocco opens.
In the park of La Alameda you can see a typical Andalusian "landscape", where in the hell with cobbled paths in the shade of palm branches on the wrought iron benches rest the old people from the scorching sun rays
If you follow the west from the old fishing port along the Muelle de Rivera, you can get to the most southwestern point of Spain - Isla de las Palomas, where the Mediterranean Sea connects with the Atlantic.
In the hills beyond the Tariff, hundreds of windmills generate enough energy to provide electricity to a small city. This is one of the biggest wind farms in Europe.
