Add a review about the gardens of the Generalife
Mauritanian aristocrats knew how to live beautifully and did not deny themselves comfort. Having rebuilt the majestic Alhambra fortress, they did not stop, and built a summer residence for themselves. "Dacha" for the Moorish rulers turned out all right. Despite the rather modest interiors (although it tastes and colors, of course), the Moors did not stint on creating a luxurious garden. Today the Generalife gardens are much more famous than the actual residence.
On a sultry Andalusian day, stroll through the gardens of the Generalife, enjoy the drops of water from the fountain, marvel at the bright colors of flowers and fruit trees, relax in the shady courtyards - perhaps the best that can come up for itself a tourist. Get to this heavenly place can be in a single trip to the Alhambra, or looking here separately, ideally - in the late afternoon (when the garden is romantically illuminated lights)
