Dozens of years ago it was one of the largest and best parks in the country, at the time when it bore the name of Stalin. Today Izmailovsky Park still occupies a huge area, especially by Moscow standards, 1534 hectares. But not in such a prime as in the USSR.
And even earlier on the outskirts of the modern park was Izmailovsky Menagerie. Now this is reminded except that the streets: 1 st and 2 nd street Izmaylovskogo zoo, 2 lane and Zverinetskaya street. In 1998, the forest park received the status of a specially protected natural area of regional importance and became known as the natural-historical park "Izmailovo."
Today the park is visited by tens of thousands of people. Here everyone - an adult or a kid - will find entertainment to his liking. Autodrome, 5D and 7D cinemas, playgrounds, sightseeing train, attractions, street simulators, badminton, chess, archery ... In general, it can be listed for a long time, but it's better to visit and experience everything yourself.
The park is divided into two parts - forest and park. It is better to enter the forest from the side of the Big Kupavensky passage. With a certain luck, you can find a hedgehog, a mole, a hare, a marten, an owl or a woodpecker. In the park zone there are attractions, roller rental, boat station. In the winter, there is a ski base and a skating rink with rental services. Every Saturday on the summer stage there are jazz evenings.
Ferris wheel
In Izmaylovskom two wheels of a review are at once. The height of the Great is 50 meters. The ticket for an adult costs 150 rubles, for a child under 7 years - 50 (June 2013). You can ride on the Small Wheel for 100 rubles, but the view from it is not so impressive.
Round Pond
In the central part of the park you will find a beautiful pond. It is better to evaluate it, as they say, from the inside, renting a boat or a catamaran on a boat station. For the watercraft will have to leave a deposit!
Rentings
Families with small children are advised to rent a velomobile and carefully explore the island: the child will not get tired, and parents will puff up their feet, pedaling. Fans of active walks are offered bicycles and rollers

Yoga
In summer, yoga is held daily in the park. On weekdays, classes begin at 8 pm, on weekends at 11 o'clock. Also on weekends, immediately after yoga, an hour of fitness is spent. Interested - then you to the dance floor at the stage Solnechnaya. Admission is free.

In the center of the park, near the main entrance, in the winter the ice rink opens. He is called "Silver Ice". It is 12 thousand square meters of a good ice field with original "bench-stumps" for antiquity, music and festive illumination. Warm dressing rooms, cafes and skates are attached
